The display supports 300 ppi for black and white content and 150 ppi for colour content on both the devices. Also both device supports FastGLR technology, it is a method to display vibrant colours with maintaining a high refresh rate for smoother scrolling and experience.
Faster CPU
Earlier Kobo used a 1.0GHz CPU which was not that good, readers experienced some lag on older models. The new colour e-readers come with Dual 2.0 GHz processor. Now the performance will surely improve, with a fast user experience and no lag.

Bottom line
Simply put, the new Kobo Colour readers are faster and obviously have colours, the new Libra colour is slimmer and lighter than the Libra 2. The older models have a 1Ghz CPU and people complained that it was slow, now with the new CPU that issue should be fixed. So, are you going to get one of them? let me know what you think about it.
